A Day in the Design Profession with QUT & Cottee Parker

Visiting our Brisbane Studio last week, students from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) ’s Interior Design programme had a chance to seek out advice from our team of graduate designers. Beyond building a connection with our team, the cohort receives invaluable insight into what to expect in the transition between university and professional practice.

We know that transitioning from student to graduate can be overwhelming; there was a real appreciation from the students hearing about our recent graduates’ experience in their design successes and challenges in the first few years of their career, tips on how to curate and present portfolios, and what they can look forward to in working at Cottee Parker Architects including our quarterly social events, the mentorship, and exposure to some of Australia’s city shaping projects.
