Student Services Centre

The UQ Students Services Centre is the interface between the University and students for enrolments, enquiries and payments. The centre has peak inquiry periods throughout the year, making it imperative the fitout was designed so it could handle large numbers and queues at these times.

The fitout is divided into two sections; one side is interactive and contains a service counter and call centre; the other side is the internal administration and policy functions are.

A multipurpose area is provided for meetings, training and staff break-out, and an expansion area is available for peak periods. To ensure the centre could be easily adapted for busy periods, a modular freeform desk based furniture system was chosen for the work areas.
