Portside East Masterplan

Portside at Hamilton marries Brisbane’s International Cruise Terminal with fresh and stylish retail, dining and living precincts.

Portside East will be an iconic gateway to Brisbane and a vibrant, integrated, mixed use riverfront precinct.

On the southern side two predominately residential use towers of 20 and 17 stories are proposed to address the wharf and herald the entrance to the cruise terminal precinct. Height will be counterbalanced by using smaller footprints and a slender built form.

General site transparency will enhance the public realm, open space, and pedestrian and bicycle connections to the river and pocket park. A strong sense of local identity will be maintained to recognise historic maritime uses and protect streetscapes, landmarks and vistas.
