Retail Projects
Cottee Parker Architects’ retail architecture experience is extensive. We have a successful history of working with private developers of local, neighbourhood and district shopping centres. We understand the specific requirements of all major anchor tenants including Woolworths, Coles, Bilo, IGA, Aldi, Big W and Kmart and we are currently developing a suite of major retail sites for the Woolworths development arm.(Fabcot Pty Ltd)
In the urban environment we have master planned major vibrant retail, mixed use precincts in Brisbane including Centro on James and Emporium. These have acted as catalysts for the re-invigoration of these areas. We expect that Waterloo Junction (currently at stage 2) will be the next major precinct to become an urban retail and social hub.
We are keeping abreast of retail master planning trends, encompassing a seamless integration of retail and residential community spaces and designing walkable town centres. Our retail architecture team have a great depth of knowledge and delivery capability and are familiar with bulky goods, specialty and regional retail specifics.
