Martin has over 20 years of experience in creating timeless and memorial architecture across Brisbane and New South Wales. Leading a team that has contributed to over 50 residential developments in South East Queensland alone, Martin delivers projects that are considered from both a design and commercial perspective.

He has successfully delivered many important urban renewal projects including James St and Emporium. More than an Architect, Martin brings design rigour, commercial analysis and a strong understanding of construction across all projects. All of which require the refined skillset and collaborative traits Martin retains.

As an equity Director at Cottee Parker Architects, Martin has been an integral member of the team for over 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice.

With a wide range of experience including masterplanning, multi-residential, commercial, hotels, retail and student accommodation – Martin has an inherent understanding of how to create projects that are both timeless and memorable.

By working closely with the project team and collaborating with all stakeholders, Martin has successfully delivered many high-profile projects across Queensland, including James Street Precinct, Emporium and Youi Headquarters. Through collaboration and building relationships with his clients, Martin consistently brings project visions to life.

Martin’s design approach is centered around creating places that end-users will be drawn to. In order to do this, he consistently stays ahead of the trends to create spaces that will continue to evolve and be valued by the community well into the future.

Playing an instrumental role in expanding Cottee Parker Architects into Sydney through joining with JPRA, Martin cohesively brings both his creative design approach together with his business expertise to the practice. This allows him to mentor and inspire team members to deliver highquality, innovative and cost-effective designs that will meet commercial outcomes.
